Terms of Service

spacetags and spacetags pro are developed and sold by Kaolin Fire ("we", "us"), based in Oakland, California. By purchasing or using the software, you agree to these terms.

1. What you're buying

A single-purchase license to install and use spacetags pro on any Mac you personally own or control. The license is perpetual — there's no recurring fee, and your access doesn't expire.

2. What you can do

• Install on any number of Macs you own.
• Receive all future updates at no extra cost.
• Request a refund within 30 days of purchase — see Refund Policy.

3. What you can't do

• Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the software.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble it, except where explicitly permitted by applicable law.
• Remove or alter copyright notices inside the application.

4. Updates

We push updates when we ship improvements or fixes. You're never required to update; older versions keep working. We may at our discretion discontinue updates for versions of macOS that Apple itself no longer supports.

5. No warranty

The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee it'll be bug-free or uninterrupted, or that it'll work with every version of macOS past or future.

6. Limitation of liability

We aren't liable for incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the software — loss of data, lost time, indirect financial harm. Our maximum aggregate liability is capped at the amount you paid us for the software.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Alameda County, California.

8. Changes

We may update these terms occasionally. We'll post the revised version on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of the software after changes means you accept the new terms.
